coming out of my mouth, but its not worth it. If the transmission would fit inside the transmission tunnel then I would say it could be worth it. Having to cut up your firewall on a perfectly good car is a bummer. I will say that once in there it is amazing to have that much room around the engine to be able to work on it. If I was making an all out track car and was going to gut out the car trying to make it as light as possible then the LSx engine would be my choice.
